Whimsy’s on LoveCrafts!
From storybook to amigurumi: How this author became a story stitcher
Do you LoveCrafts, cause I do!
LoveCrafts could not have been any more wonderful to work with on this article and tutorial. They are truly a one-stop-shop for the crocheter out there. In the tutorial you will find links to all of the materials you can buy through LoveCrafts if you’d like. They aren’t the exact yarns I used but they were the right colors, so they should work up a brand new Whimsy and Flit beautifully.

WISHWEAVER is in the SCBWI Bookstop!
Here’s just one more way to get your copy of Wishweaver today!
Here’s what School Library Journal, other authors, and reviewers are saying about Whimsy’s first tale:
Gr 2-4-In this new series entry for young readers, Winter spins a creative and fantastical tale about friendship and responsibility…Weyburn is an immersive and rich backdrop that would lend itself well to a sequel. Large black-and-white images accompany the text, helping bring Winter’s universe to life. The illustration style is buoyant and cute, infusing the story with a cheerfulness that will delight adult and child readers alike. The instructions to crochet Whimsy make for a fun addition, likely to be enjoyed by young crafters… this book is a unique take on the “genie in a bottle” story… —School Library Journal
