My latest YouTube video is up and this time it’s all about what I’ve been up to the past few months as well as an upcoming GIVEAWAY! I just received over 1,000 subscribers on my Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel and it’s time to celebrate!!!
I fell in love with “Swatch: The Girl Who Loved Color” the moment I checked it out from the library and read it to my son. Being an illustrator, the concept of a girl named, Swatch, who tries to tame color by collecting each one in a jar, spoke volumes to me.
Theodore and the Enchanted Bookstore series author, K. Kibbee, and illustrator, J.H. Winter, finally meet!
The Theodore series has been in the making for over a year now as a project that Kristine Kibbee wrote for Incorgnito Publishing Press’ company mascot. After the first book was written and in the editing stages, it was time to find an illustrator for the series.
Theodore the Corgi is at it again, and I’m right there to breathe life to his escapades in Book Two of The Enchanted Bookstore series by K. Kibbee!
With Theodore and the Enchanted Bookstore: Tale of the Spectacular Spectacles available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Noble booksellers, it’s time for K. Kibbee and I to put our heads together to create Book Two in this adorable series! Book One had the release date pushed back until October 10, 2017, but I can tell you, it’s well worth the wait and I’m only slightly biased.
There is a new video up on my Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel that is all about Theodore, with behind the scenes clips and images that I took during the illustration process!
Hear more about the book series and what goes on inside The Enchanted Bookstore.
Time to reveal the cover for the first children’s book I’ve illustrated: Tale of the Spectacular Spectacles. Book One of the Theodore and the Enchanted Bookstore series, written by author, K. Kibbee.
What do you all think?
I am really happy with the final reveal for the cover. The illustration is my own and the book cover design was done by the talented, Star Foos.
It feels great to finally be able to give you all an update on my progress with the illustrations I’ve been working on for the first book in a planned series of Corgi fantasy books (middle grade, ages 7-10) by author, K. Kibbee. I spoke more about this project when I made the announcement that I am illustrating a book series.
You heard correctly, I am illustrating my first children’s book!
It’s been some time since I’ve posted what I’ve been working on, and I’m pleased to finally be able to announce that I have signed a contract with Incorgnito Publishing Press to illustrate three Middle Grade Fantasy books about a Corgi dog and his adventures! These books will be novellas, or chapter books as they are often called, for young readers within the Middle Grade category (ages 7-10 years old).
