ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m Illustrating a Book Series!
You heard correctly, I am illustrating my first children’s book!
It’s been some time since I’ve posted what I’ve been working on, and I’m pleased to finally be able to announce that I have signed a contract with Incorgnito Publishing Press to illustrate three Middle Grade Fantasy books about a Corgi dog and his adventures! These books will be novellas, or chapter books as they are often called, for young readers within the Middle Grade category (ages 7-10 years old).
The books are written by the amazing author, K. Kibbee, whose work I have been following for awhile now. Her latest series, Forests of the Fae, is spooky, attention-grabbing, and keeps you guessing throughout the first book, Devlin’s Door. The second book in the series, The Raven Queen, will be coming out next year.
I will let you know details as I am able to about my progress on the first book, when it will be available for purchase, and how you can get a copy!
I’m looking forward to bringing to life this fun and quirky character that K. Kibbee has described so beautifully through her words.

Congratulations! This is super exciting news, both on the new home front and you’re going to be a published illustrator. Yippee! Are you able to do library visits? ; )

That would certainly be fun to do in the future. We will have to wait and see what the publishers have in mind. 😉

Also wanted to add, I saw a book come through at the library and the illustrations made me think of you-I think they’re a mix of colored pencils and watercolor. The illustrator was Francesca Rossi and the book was Aladdin, if you want to check her out!

I just looked her up and I have seen Francesca’s work before! Her illustrations are amazing so I am proud to be compared with her. 🙂

Congratulations! How exciting! Do you remember Davi? She has a Corgi –they are so cute! And of course, Queen Elizabeth only keeps Corgis … she has a charming group of them. I look forward to seeing the finished work!

I do remember Davi! Now that you mention it, I do remember her saying she has Corgis. They are adorable dogs. I look forward to sharing more of my work on the project here with you!
