Let’s Chit-Chat on Discord in the Ink & Stitches NEW Online Community!

I found a great place where we can all hop in and chat with each other, share patterns, ask questions, and just generally spend time with like-minded creatives while we work on our own creative projects. It’s a platform called, Discord.

On the Ink & Stitches Discord, I’ve created several different chat rooms. There are typing chat rooms, and voice/video chat rooms depending on your comfort zone. Here are some screenshots as to what the platform looks like along with the welcome letter I wrote so you can decide where you’d like to go next!

In the above snapshot, you’ll see the various typing chat rooms. There’s Artist’s Alley, Yarn Club, and a Questions + Ideas room where you can hang out if you want to have a text chat going.

Notice above, there are equivalent chat rooms for those who’d rather talk than type and these rooms even have video capabilities if you’d rather see each other face-to-face.

I’ve created the Ink & Stitches Discord server for all of you. What better way to start a conversation than real time, online, where you can get your questions answered by other creatives, and I plan to hop on as well whenever I get a chance! I’ve been trying to find a better, less stuffy, more informal sort of place for us all to go when we’re sitting there crocheting, or drawing, or being productive. A safe space for all of us to be creative and share our beautiful work and works in progress (WIPs) with each other.
