Happy Holidays from Ink & Stitches + GIVEAWAY!

Hello my lovelies!

I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve posted! Sorry about that, but I’ve been a busy little bee in the meanwhile!

This past week I finished the more than 100 illustrations that will be adorning the pages of Book Two in the Tales of Whimsy series, a task I can assure you wasn’t altogether easy. Now that it’s finished and we’re just sorting out formatting the book, it feels a bit weird not to be picking up my iPad to draw every day.

So, instead of my iPad, I’ve picked back up my crochet hook! I was lucky enough to be selected to have one of my patterns included in an upcoming Crochet Society box! How fun to have one of Bella Coco’s monthly boxes delivered to your door full of patterns, yarns, and other crochet supplies. If you’re interested in signing up, head here!

Also while I was away, my YouTube subscribers passed 4,000! I love teaching you all and sharing my patterns with you.

Currently, I’m working on getting the Wishghan ready for an upcoming crochet along that I plan on starting before the Tales of Whimsy (Book Two) is released on April 6th! The Wishghan is based on Book One of the series, Wishweaver, and has many of the characters and locations from the first book. I can’t wait to get started on the crochet along with you!

For those of you who haven’t read Wishweaver, what are you waiting for?

Here’s what people are saying about it:

“I bought this book as a gift for my young niece but read it myself and now it sits on my bookshelf, a shelf for my most special stories. For anyone who loved Beatrix Potter books or Wind in the Willows, this book will bring you back to that special time and place. The special little creatures and the story are magical, mysteries and life lessons, scattered with nostalgia for me…..I loved it.” – Penelope S.

I read this with my 8 year old and we both absolutely loved it. The language is magical and was a great vocabulary builder for my daughter as well. I would highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more from J.H. Winter! – Anonymous

What a great gift this book would make for a loved one. Plus you can even crochet Whimsy and Flit using my free pattern and video series to guide you every step of the way! Coming soon with Book Two of the series, I will be creating another character to go alongside Whimsy and Flit too! Any ideas who it might be?

Time for another GIVEAWAY!

I just got my hands on some more copies of the book myself, and to celebrate reaching 4,000+ subscribers on Ink & Stitches YouTube, I wanted to host a GIVEAWAY! This giveaway will include a signed copy of Wishweaver along with a bookmark and notebook sticker from the book too!

Thank you all so much again for your support! I’ll have lots of wonderful announcements coming soon and sneak peeks of Book Two of the Tales of Whimsy!
