Oh my, are we at the Great Dane already???

This Dogghan has flown by, hasn’t it? I hope you’ve enjoyed making all the dog squares and rectangles. We finish them up with the dog who’s A Head Above the Rest, none other than Marmaduke himself: the Great Dane!

The Great Dane rectangle is the size of three squares stacked high! It is the Astrocat of the Dogghan, the one that will take you the longest amount of time. We’ve worked up to this one, but I know you can all see it through to the end!

Next week, we’ll be finishing up the Dogghan by connecting the squares and putting on the final border. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful Dogghan’s put together!

While this Dogghan CAL posts will always be here for free on my blog, for convenience, I’ve also created one giant PDF file for those who would like to purchase a copy of all the files together in one place. No searching through posts necessary. Plus, it’s over there now, should you want to work ahead of the group rather than wait for each week’s new square. You can purchase this pattern for a small fee here on Ravelry. It is also available on Etsy.

Make sure to post your finished squares/rectangles on social media:

I hope if you’re new to C2C crochet, that watching the YouTube videos for the first two squares, and working alongside me, have helped you get this fun technique down pat!
