WISHGHAN CAL – Week #5 Peter Firefly
WISHGHAN CAL – WEEK #5: Peter Firefly
Peter is a firefly that Whimsy and Flit meet when they come upon Bellflower Grove. His kindness toward them earns him one of Lady Porcupine’s crawler biscuits. He’s also one of the messenger fireflies who deliver messages throughout Weyburn. In this Wishghan square, he is carrying one such message to be delivered.
If you haven’t had a chance to read my children’s chapter book, WISHWEAVER, you can find it at most online retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, IndieBound, Target, and Walmart! Written for ages 7-9, WISHWEAVER would make the perfect gift for the special kiddo in your life. Especially ones who love adventure, bugs, and magic!
Whimsy pulled out a crawler biscuit from her pack and laid it down beside Peter while he slept, as a silent ‘thank you’ for his kindness.
Excerpt from the book, WISHWEAVER, by J.H. Winter.
While this Wishghan CAL posts will always be here for free on my blog, for convenience, I’ve also created one giant 70-page PDF file for those who would like to purchase a copy of all the files together in one place along with a photo tutorial of connecting the squares and doing the final border. No searching through posts necessary! Plus, it’s over there now, should you want to work ahead of the group rather than wait for each week’s new square. You can purchase this pattern for a small fee here on Ravelry. It is also available on Etsy and LoveCrafts.
Make sure to post your finished squares/rectangles on social media:
