Book Review Time: TOO CUTE AMIGURUMI, by Jennifer Santos
I was recently given the opportunity to get my hands on a copy of Jennifer Santos’ new amigurumi pattern book, TOO CUTE AMIGURUMI.
When my copy arrived, I was excited to grab my yarn and hook and dive in! Of course, being a book of kawaii food and other such patterns, I knew I needed to get the kiddos thoughts on what to make.
As most of you might guess, neither could agree on which to choose, and both chose things I wouldn’t have thought they’d pick! The consensus all around was, “They’re all just too cute!”
So, as the book suggested, the decision was not going to be an easy one. They are indeed, all too cute, but alas, we must dive in because these little guys won’t crochet themselves, now will they?
I decided, to go ahead and make my daughter’s favorite: Pizza. From a wee thing that would get hangry – yes, hangry – for pizza, it was a perfect choice for my girl!
The pattern worked up fairly quickly. There were no errors, no confusing instructions, and the pictures were good representations of what the final product would look like.
I just sat back, enjoyed one of my favorite YouTube creators, Katnipp, and enjoyed working my way through the pattern.
Once complete, I gave it to the Pizza-Lover herself, and I would say, it was the perfect slice of cuteness!
This book deserves every 5-star review its been given. Well done, Jennifer!
Perfect for little hands, playing pretend food in a play kitchen, as gifts for fellow lovers of all things kawaii, cute, and handmade!
If you’d like to grab your own copy, you can get it here! Now I need to go make the rainbow for my son. Which one would you make first?
Happy crocheting everyone!
