Theodore and the Enchanted Bookstore is out on paperback!
Illustrating this book was such an amazing experience for me. I got to use a medium I adore for the cover art (Prismacolor pencils) and had a subject matter that was fun to research and even more fun to draw. I’ve learned how smart and silly Corgis can be and Theodore is no exception!
If you’d like to listen to more about the series while watching clips of behind-the-scenes photos and video snippets throughout my illustration process for Book One, there is a video up on my Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel here.
I have already completed the cover art for Book Two, which I should be able to share later on this year. If you think the cover of Book One is vibrant, just wait until you see the cover for Book Two!
My thought process behind the cover art, is that I like to go with a color theme. For Tale of the Spectacular Spectacles, the dominant color is a vibrant purple. I will give you a hint into Book Two by letting you know that the main color for the cover this time around is the many shades of green!
Below, enjoy a sneak peek into the pages of Book One from Theodore and the Enchanted Bookstore!
